John Symons and Sheila Laxon are celebrated icons of Australian horse racing and proud champions of the Sunshine Coast. Sheila made history as the first female trainer to win the Melbourne Cup with Ethereal in 2001, and in 2024, the duo has once again etched their names in history with Knight’s Choice, guided to victory by jockey Robbie Dolan, who will be riding on Sunday and part of the celebration!
